Accommodation and Rates

Week horse riding holidays run from Sunday to Sunday and include 5 days riding and 6 days/7nights accommodation in a typical Spanish house or hostel. Dates are flexible. We put you up in local accommodation, rather than having you at the base as we feel that this gives you the chance for more privacy and independence. Most of the accommodation options are rural and while car hire is not a necessity it is advisable if you want to get out and about.
There are various other entertainments to be had in the area including golf, water sports, fishing, cycling, walking, bird watching, beaches, water parks and many others. The culturally rich cities of Seville and Granada (the Alhambra) are within 2 hours drive and during the winter months there is very good skiing at Sierra Nevada, just 1½ hours away. Jerez and of course the Royal Spanish Riding School (http://www.realescuela.org/) are just 3 hours away.

Our base
We are based in the hills above lake Vinuela (click here for more information on our immediate area (http://www.lake-vinuela.com/) in an area known as Las Chozas de Triana. It is a rural area but some 90 families live scattered around and there are other houses in view. Access is via an 8-minute dirt track, which is easily navigated by a normal car in all but the worst of the winter rain. The area is cultivated with grapes vines, olives, almonds and some tropical fruit trees and the immediate terrain is mountainous.
