Our primary aim is, of course, to provide an unforgettable riding holiday in the beautiful surrounds of Andalucia, Spain. We achieve this by providing healthy, happy Spanish horses who are suited to the climate and workload (please click on the horses link to see more), an informative, knowledgeable and friendly guide and varied rides through breathtakingly beautiful scenery, all the while maintaining a relaxed, tranquilo atmosphere in the typical Spanish tradition.
We also provide 1 to 2 hour hacks or longer at 25 Euros per person per hour.
We aim to cater for the more independent holidaymaker and encourage our guests to hire a car and get out and explore the area. We can give you all the tourist information and advice you could possibly need to fully appreciate this wonderful part of Andalucia. To this end our guests have a choice of accommodation to choose from in the immediate vicinity according their budgets and requirements. A pick up and drop off service is available to and from your accommodation, should it be required, at no extra cost to you. Thus our holidays are very suitable for family or holiday groups with non-riders as it allows the rest of the family to entertain themselves during the day.
 Our horse riding base is located in Southern Spain, more specifically in the Axarquia region, which is the area East of Malaga, inland from the Costa del Sol. Our largest town and capital of the area is Velez Malaga, situated 45 minutes from Malaga airport. The stables are near to the beautiful lake Vinuela which is situated at the foot of Mount Maroma, the highest peak in the sierra Tejada mountain range. The areas two main industries are tourism and farming and the region is particularly famed for its fine Olive oil. The coastal resort of Torre del Mar, Costa del Sol, is just 15 minutes away with its beach bars, nightlife, golf courses and tourist attractions and yet tradition prevails in the mountains and it is not uncommon to see teams of mules working the land as they have for centuries.
Many of our horse riding day trips include a lunch or dinner stop in one of the white washed villages of the area where you can see first hand the narrow winding streets, historic churches and typical Spanish village life at its best.
